The family of the late Oba Adeyemo Oyeleru Abina, Iba Abogunde, Ogbomoso have described the enthronement of Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III,
the new Soun of Ogbomosoland as a timely development that will engender advancement and stable growth for the historical city.
The Abina’s in a congratulatory message signed by Prince Oladipupo Abina, Chairman Abiron Multi concepts, the family said we have a strong hope that his enthronement will be a blessing to the pure, unadulterated Yoruba race as well as promote Yoruba culture and tradition.
The royal family also commended the stakeholders especially the kingmakers, Oyo state government and others for endorsing the the right choice as king for the community.
“All the contestants are eminently qualified for the throne but Oba Ghandi Olaoye’ choice is the best for Ogbomoso at this moment especially when the community needs a leader that will foster unity and take the community to another level and he has since his enthronement been demonstrating his preparedness and ability to lead the entire Ogbomosoland into greatness.
Acknowledging the steps take so far, by the king, the Abina’s family said it is a right step in a right direction and we urge residents and indigenes of the Ogbomosoland to support the monarch and always pray for him.
“ While appealing to other contestants to support him, the Abina said “We urge his contenders to resign to the will of God by cooperating with the newly appointed Soun to move Ogbomosholand forward. Only God enthrones”
