Abductors Demand N100m Ransom for The Kidnapped Hotelier, Staff

Abductors of the Hoteliers and a member of his staff who were abducted on wednesssay have demanded for N100 million naira ransom from the family

The propietor Mr Gbenga Owolabi and one of his staff were abducted at the hotel in Abaa area of Ogbomoso on Wednesday

Ogbomoso Inisght, a community based newspaper report that the kidnappers contacte the family and demanded for N100million naira. After negotiation the reduced it to N60million

A family member who spoke with Ogbomosoinsightonline said the family cannot raise such amount of money now because there is no how they can do it

He added that Mr Gbenga Owolabi is on medication for high blood pressure and they dont want him to stay long at the kidnapper’s den

The abduction is the third in Ogbomoso zone in the last three weeks with a total of N8m allegedly doled out as ransom to secure the release of the two earlier victims (N5m and N3m respectively).

Meanwhile the police on Friday said some of people suspected to have been involved in the abduction of Dr Rasheed Oladoye and TDB’ s farm supervisor have been arrested and paraded
