Olympic legend Usain Bolt has resume trainning with Borussia Dortmund alongside Marco Reus and Mario Gotze in a two-day trial.
Skysport.com reports that Bolt has always harboured hopes of playing for his beloved Manchester United and was involved in an open training session with Dortmund’s first team on Friday.
The Jamaican was pictured training in the famous yellow and black colours of the Bundesliga club, enjoying a session with those that were not selected for international duty, including ex-Chelsea forward Andrew Schurrle.
Dortmund, which shares a sponsor with Bolt in sportswear giants Puma, had long said the 31-year-old could train with the team at some stage and posted a video on Instagram of Bolt in the changing room.
The world-record holder in the 100 metres has also been training with South African side Mamelodi Sundowns in January and will participate in a charity match at Old Trafford in June.
Dortmund’s next game after the international break is against rivals Bayern Munich on March 31.
Peter Stoger’s side must register victory or risk Bayern officially winning the Bundesliga title following the final whistle.
Bayern are 17 points clear at the top of the division after 27 matches played, and can pick up the title following another victory providing other results also go in their favour.
Dortmund are third on 48 points, 18 behind Bayern.
