President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for the accelerated implementation of key development initiatives under the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP), as he received the Director-General and Global Liaison of the organization, Mr. Joseph Tegbe, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
During the meeting, Mr. Tegbe briefed the President on the current status of Nigeria’s comprehensive strategic cooperation with the People’s Republic of China. He highlighted ongoing engagements with Chinese government officials and business leaders geared toward driving critical investments across various sectors, including infrastructure, manufacturing, healthcare, education, technology, agriculture, and mineral development.
President Tinubu praised the NCSP for its proactive efforts and emphasized the need to fast-track the execution of high-impact projects that would deliver tangible benefits to the Nigerian people. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fostering international partnerships that align with Nigeria’s economic and developmental priorities.
“The time to deliver results is now,” President Tinubu said. “These projects must translate into real improvements in the lives of our citizens.”
