History was made in Ogbomoso South Local Government on Saturday as residents trooped out en masse to witness the commissioning of the newly constructed B.S.A Arowomole Bus-Stop Park, a legacy project of the Booda Sunday Adeyemo Foundation (BSA).
The park, situated at the Arowomole Bus-Stop, was unveiled in a colourful ceremony attended by community leaders, dignitaries, religious figures, and well-wishers. The event underscored yet another milestone in the philanthropic journey of Hon. Sunday Adeyemo—fondly called Booda Sunday—whose commitment to community development continues to earn widespread admiration.
The Bishop of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Ogbomoso Diocese, His Eminence Dr. D.A.M. Moradeyo, officiated the commissioning. In his remarks, the Bishop lauded the aesthetics and functionality of the park, describing it as a blessing to the community and a testament to God-glorifying service. “Projects like this gladden the heart of God,” he declared.
Bishop Moradeyo further extolled Hon. Adeyemo’s consistent record of service, which includes feeding programmes for the needy, JAMB scholarship awards, and various empowerment initiatives—all funded from his personal resources. His sermon evolved into a moving tribute to the man behind the BSA Foundation.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Sunday Adeyemo reaffirmed his belief in purposeful giving and expressed his joy at being able to serve his people in tangible ways. He noted that the park was designed to provide comfort, order, and beauty at a critical transit point in Ogbomoso South.
Other notable attendees included Reverend Olanrewaju of Ayo Oluwa Baptist Church, Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbomoso South, Hon. Sunday Damilare (Bsquare), leaders of the Arowomole Landlords Association, and representatives of maruwa (tricycle) and Okada (motorcycle) riders.
The event concluded with prayers, musical performances, and jubilant scenes from grateful residents who hailed the project as timely and transformative.
Once again, Hon. Sunday Adeyemo has shown that true leadership lies in service. Through the BSA Foundation, he continues to redefine community development with initiatives that leave lasting impacts on lives and livelihoods across Ogbomoso South
