The 1996 Set of the Anglican Grammar School Old Students Association, Ogbomoso, has congratulated their classmate and friend, Dr. Saheed Adetunbi Ige, on his recent appointment as a member of the Governing Council of the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igbo-Ora.
In a press statement signed by the set’s president, Olakunle Oladeji, the group described Dr. Ige—fondly called Olubadan—as an embodiment of excellence, humility, and public service.
Dr. Ige is a lecturer in the Agricultural Extension and Rural Development and at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, and is widely respected for his academic contributions and community engagement. The association noted that his appointment reflects recognition of his dedication to educational development and nation-building.
“We are confident that Dr. Ige will bring outstanding value, sound judgment, and innovative ideas to the Governing Council of OYSCATECH, contributing significantly to the institution’s growth and relevance,” the statement read.
