The Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo State Association of Local Government Retired Teachers (OSALGRT), Ogbomoso North Local Government Wing, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Akinwale Solomon Akinwole (popularly known as Wolekanle) on his appointment as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.
The felicitation, conveyed in a letter jointly signed by the chairman, Adeniyi S. A., and secretary, Ogunjobi S. A., commended Governor Seyi Makinde for considering Akinwole worthy of the strategic role.
“We thank God for your life and the grace He gave you. We also appreciate our Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for counting you worthy for the position,” the letter reads in part.
The retired primary school teachers expressed hope that divine empowerment would help wolekanle succeed in his new position, praying that his leadership would bring benefits to his household and the state at large.
“God will use this position to move you to higher ground,” the union declared, while also invoking prayers for divine protection and guidance over his life and service.
The letter reflects strong support from grassroots stakeholders for Akinwole’s new role and underscores the continued involvement of retired educators in state development matters.
