“As your representative in the State Assembly, I’ve met with Hon. Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi, Member of the House of Representatives, and we’ve taken important steps even before the recent accidents. While our Member of the House of Representatives has been trying to secure essential permissions in Abuja, I’ve been in contact with the office of the Federal Controller of Works, Oyo State Field Headquarters, Federal Secretariat, Ikolaba, Ibadan considering the road alignments falls under their purview.”
Speaking on the latest development:, he said: ‘I can now confirm to you that RCC are on site around Ajayi Crowther University today.
“We believe that the contractor will provide a long-term solution to the ECOBANK/Ajayi Crowther University area by developing a good drainage system capable of managing the volume of water flowing in those areas.”
We have also ensured the presence of Oyo State Road Traffic Maintenance Agency on the express road to maintain compliance on the road till the old road is repaired.
