Scarcity of fuel during festive period seems to have been a tradition in Nigeria as commercial drivers and private car owners usually queue for hours at station for fuel
Our reporter who move round the city discovered that many filling station sells for N160 and few sells between N145 and N150.
Although some of them marketer decline to comment on the development but one of them who who prefer anonymity said “ we sell what we buy”
This development has led to emergence of black markters who sells 4 liters of fuel for N800
The overall effects of the fuel scarcity is on passengers who have to pay above the regular fair
Although the PENGASSAN have suspended their strike and Federal Government promise that the scarcity will end by Saturday but there seems to be no end in sight soon
