The NYSC Orientation Camp which was closed 12 years ago in Maiduguri borno state has been reopened.
Borno state Governor Prof Babangana Zulum who was at the opening ceremony thanked Almighty Allah for witnessing this remarkable day of Reopening of the NYSC Orientation Camp in Borno state after 12 years of closure of the camp due to insecurity and today NYSC Camp activities have resumed in Borno State,
This is a clear indication that peace has returned to the state.
He also acknowledged the bold step taken by the Corp members posted to Borno state who come down to the state for their mandatory youths service.
“We welcome you all and Borno is a place for hospitality and the state has been enjoying peace, Borno state government has continues paying corp members their state allowance without any issues he wish them successful service year in Borno state”.
The NYSC state coordinator in his remarks thank the Executive Governor of Borno state and the stakeholders for efforts put in place and working with the NYSC management to see NYSC Orientation Camp resume in Borno state after the 12 Years of the closure.
He added that the orientation camp has been Reopened for activities this is indeed shows that peace has gradually return to Borno state.
He however charged the Prospective Corp members to be diligent in their PPA to serve their father Land.
