Amb Wale Ojo-Lanre, a former Senior Special Assistant on Tourism Development and DG, Ekiti State Council for Arts and Culture to Governor Fayemi will be on the 9th of September Honoured with an Award of Honour by the y Ilogbo Community in Ekiti State.
The Usi-Ekiti-born tourism impresario has bagged several honors both locally and internationally for Promoting culture and tourism globally.
Ojo lanre who was an Associate Editor with Nigerian Tribune Newspaper commenced the advocacy for the creation of a seseparateinistry for tourism and the promotion of domestic tourism to boost creativity, Job creation, empowerment, and revenue generation.
The Pioneer President of the Nigerian Guild of Tourism Editors was appointed as the Director General Council for Arts and Culture by Gov Fayemi in 2019

This year’s ILOGBO-EKITI DAY will start on the 4th of September and the grand finale will hold on the 9th of September.
It would be recalled that Ilogbo Ekiti is the only town in the world that hosts a Palm Tree with 42 heads.
