Prince Temitope Adebayo better known as chef Tope Maggie has changed the location of his coocking marathon from Ibadan to Ogbomoso.
Chef Maggie who also extended his time of coocking to 200 hours said the decision was influenced by the quest from fans and supporters who want him fo place Ogbomoso on world map with the coocking marathon.
Chef Tope had in early june announced his intentions to display his talent in coocking by cocking fot 140 hours at yet to be declared location in Ibadan, the state capital.
Speaking with journalists on Ibadan, the Ogbomoso born chef said the event is scheduled to commence on November 9th at Ogbomoso Recreation Club along LAUTECH road, Ogbomoso.
He said he decided to extend the time to 200 hours because he realizes that 140hours may not be enough for the tasks especially in preparing local and continental dishes during the period
” I have done the necessary amendment with the Guines World Records and it has been updated”
While appreciating people who have been assuring him of thier support and and fans that are already looking forward for the day, Chef Tope said he will never betray the confidence reposed in him as he is sure of being the next winner of the Guiness World Recoed certificate
