The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agency NANTA Western Zone has elected new executive that will steer the affairs of the association for the next two years
The keenly contested election which was held at premier hotel ibadan was monitored by the National president of the association Mrs Suzan Akporiaye, members of BoT Kofo Aluko and others
Mr Babatunde Adesokan defeated the incumbent chairman Mr Hezekiah Afolabi to emerge the winner of the Vice President of the Zone
Other executives includes Ajibade Olaleye (PRO), Mr Tijani (Auditor,) Ogunsebikan Temitayo ( Secretary) and Mr Seyi Lateef (Treasurer)
The newly elected president Babatunde Adesokan popularly called Otunba said
in his remark said “I am going to be a VP for all, in this election there is no loser there is no winner we are all one NANTA, lets put our house together
Adesokan added that he would priorities promotion of unity and proper training of members as well facilitates developmental projects for the association
He urged ever member to make contributions on how to move NANTA forward “Our doors are open for criticism, let us all work together so that we can be proud of where were we all belong to
He also declared his predecessor Mr Hezekian Afolabi as the ex officio
The National President of the association Mr Akiporaiye in remark said “Leadership is about goving account ,its your right to demand accountability, you have voted in your new executive, criticise them constructively, they need your support to succed, if you have an idea bring it on board so that the association can grow together
