Best Legacy College of Education (BELCOED), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has concluded arrangements to commence degree programme in various fields of study during the 2021/2022 academic session.
The Provost, Dr Temidayo Ola who disclosed this on Friday while speaking with newsmen in Ogbomoso said the College is now affiliated with Alhikmah University, Ilorin, Kwara State to run degree programmes in education inclined courses and award Bachelor’s degree.
The provost, who listed School of Arts & Social Sciences, School of Sciences, School of Vocational and Technical Education, School of Education and School of Languages as part of courses already running in the College, however, said the degree courses would expand the scope of academic programmes run by the teacher training institution.
BELCOED, the first private owned tertiary institution in Ogbomoso was founded in the year 2007 with approval from National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), Abuja.
The school has graduated over 5,000 students over the years and still running several courses leading to the award of National Certificate of Education (NCE).
“Applicants can be admitted with their O’ level results. Students are also admitted into 200 level with their ND/NCE results through the Direct Entry”.

He then urge all the staffers to continue to showcase the school as the pride of Ogbomoso and the country at large.
