The National leader of the Oodua People’s Congress Otunba Gani Adams will be conferred with the title of Agbaakin of Osogboland by Oba Jimoh, Oyetunji Olanipekun, Larooye 11 , the Ataoja of Osobo on 17th of August 2017
The title of Agbaakin was given to the OPC leader by the immediate past Ataoja , Oba Oyewale Matanmi as a reward and appreciation for his immense contributions to the success and sustainability of annual Osun Osogbo festival.
It was learnt that the date of coronation was yet to be fixed before the immediate past Ataoja joined his ancestors and the new king having consider Otunba Adams as a worthy leader deem it fit to officially coronate him and present him with title paraphernalia as the Agbaakin of Osogbo.
