Former Deputy Governor of Oyo state and achieftain of the ruling party PDP, Amb Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja has harped on the need to promote unity and ensure progress in the PDP
He also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his style of governance and commitment to the welfare of people of the state
Arapaja said this during a meeting with his followers across the 33 local governments in oyo state and urged them to be one
According to a press statement signed by his media aide Bamitale Ibrahim, the former Ambassador to Jordan said “Let’s be strategic and promote Party at our individual Wards and local governments.
“We need to rise up towards promoting the Party and be active always in our meetings. Politics is a game of number.
” We need to avoid splitting our votes by not standing together. This is what always gave APC victory in previous elections with a less than 40% of votes.
