The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East / South East federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina hosted the 2nd edition of the Omo Oloore Primary/Secondary Schools Quiz and Debate Competition in the constituency to celebrate 2017 children’ day

The youthful lawmaker, who is the son of late former Governor of Oyo State Alh Lam Adesina had put up the initiative under his Omo-Oloore Educational Support Scheme in order to motivate young Nigerians to concentrate on their studies and get the needed exposures to prepare them for the future.
Twice in less than two years, the lawmaker who is a former commissioner in the state, has given out bursary to students of his constituency in higher institutions scattered across the country.
In the public primary school Quiz category , Omoyeni Memorial School, St. David School and St. John Catholic School came first, second and third respectively while Anglican Grammar School,
Yejide Girls Grammar School and Queen of Apostles Commercial Secondary School came first, second and third respectively in the Public secondary Quiz category.
In the private primary Quiz category, Ebire Creche Nur/Pry School, Molete Goodwill Nur/Pry School and
Educare Nur/Pry School came first, second and third respectively. In the Private secondary Quiz category, Sunkem Comprehensive Academy, Periscope College, Emerald Laurel Comprehensive College came first, second and third respectively.
In the debate competition, Community Primary School, Oyapidan and Omoyeni Memorial Basic School came first and second in the public primary category while Solam Model Nur/Pry School and Gloryfield Nur/Pry School came first and second in the private primary category.
For the public secondary school category, Yejide Girls Grammar School and Queen of Apostles Commercial Secondary School came first and second. Periscope College and Educare ComprehensiveCollege were first and second in the private secondary category.
The first position winners went home with a laptop and trophy each, second position winners with a trophy and cash prize each while the third position winners went home with a trophy each
Participating students didn’t go home empty-handed as each of them got a school bag and other educational materials.
At the inaugural edition Omo Oloore Quiz and Debate Competition last year, similar gesture was extended.
At the well attended event were Chief Ayo Eniade,Chief Amuzat Makinde,Alhaji Basiru Ajibade,Chairman of Ibadan South East LGA Alhaji Teslim Ajimobi,Representative of the Hon Commissioner for Education,Science,Technology,Chairmen of NUT in Ibadan South East and North East Local governments,Chairman of ,Apc Party Leaders and Members.
