Many Dead, Several Injured as Vehicle Rams into Market in Ekiti

Many people were killed and several other injured as articulated vehicle rammed into market in Iworoko Ekiti on saturday evening.

The vehicle which carry rice belonging to a politician in Ondo state was said to have lost break and rammed into the market leaving several shops and house destroyed.

An eye witness told our reporter that a mini shuttle had already been crushed by the vehicle before it rammed into the market.

“The trailer which was coming from Ifaki area lost its brake and while the driver want to manouvre his way, he lost control and jump over to the other side of the market claiming a lot of life

” As at the time of filling this report the numbers of casualties is yet to be ascertained but some of the injured have been take to hopsital for medical attention.
