Saki West chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress has expelled the Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Musa AbdWasi over anti-party activities.
This was made known in a release by the party’s chapter in Saki West Local Government which was signed by the secretary and chairman.
Musah AbdulWasi represents Saki West state constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The expulsion is coming few days after the Deputy Speaker led 15 other members of the house to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
When contacted, Abdulwasi Musah told insideoyo.com that he is not aware of any expulsion. And that he has not been given any letter to that effect.
“I’m not aware of any expulsion. I have not received any letter or release to that effect.
“As far as the House of Assembly is concerned, I remain a member of the APC, that can be seen from the vote and proceedings of the house.”
