Nollywood movie producer and entrepreneur, Amb. Thompson Ukeki, has unveiled King Drive U, a new mobility platform that combines ride-hailing services with professional driver-hire services on a single mobile application.
Described by its founder as a 2-in-1 mobility solution, King Drive U allows users to book rides for their daily activities while also providing vehicle owners with the option of hiring professional drivers to operate their personal vehicles.
Speaking on the concept behind the platform, Ukeki said King Drive U was developed to address different transportation and driving needs through one application.
“King Drive U is a 2-in-1 application created for both riding services and professional driving services. Through the app, you can book a ride for your daily activities, or you can hire a professional driver to drive your own car for an hour, a day, a week or a month.”
According to him, the driver-hire service is particularly designed for vehicle owners who may require professional drivers for personal, business, family or other transportation needs.
Users can therefore choose between requesting a ride and hiring a driver, depending on their individual requirements.
