The Rotary Club of Iyaganku-Ibadan has announced the investiture of Rotarian Idowu Oyedapo Richard as its 38th President, alongside a fundraising ceremony to support the club’s 2026/2027 community service projects.
The investiture and fundraising event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Wanique Event Centre, Jericho, Ibadan, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
According to the club, the ceremony will bring together Rotarians, community leaders, business executives, government officials and other distinguished guests to witness the formal installation of Rotarian Idowu Oyedapo Richard as the new president and to mobilize support for the club’s humanitarian initiatives.
The club stated that under the leadership of Rotarian Idowu Oyedapo Richard, it intends to deepen its commitment to community development through projects focusing on education, healthcare, maternal and child welfare, youth empowerment, environmental sustainability and economic development, in line with Rotary International’s motto, “Service Above Self.”
The Rotary Club of Iyaganku-Ibadan expressed confidence that the investiture of Rotarian Idowu Oyedapo Richard would usher in a new chapter of impactful service, strengthened partnerships and sustainable humanitarian interventions that will benefit communities across Ibadan and Oyo State.
