The Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Hon. Adedeji Michael Adesoji, popularly known as Iba Agba, has called on party leaders and stakeholders in Ogbomoso Zone to intensify reconciliation efforts and strengthen grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Adesoji made the call during a strategic meeting with APC leaders and stakeholders from the five local government areas in Ogbomoso Zone held at his Campaign Office in Isale General, Ogbomoso.
He said the meeting provided an opportunity for party members to assess their progress, reinforce unity, and map out strategies for electoral victory in 2027.
The APC deputy governorship candidate expressed appreciation for the contributions of party leaders at the meeting, including Hon. Tunde Oloyede, Oyo North Senatorial Chairman; Alhaji Wasiu Olukan; Hon. Bunvic; Alhaji Kazeem, APC Chairman in Ogo-Oluwa Local Government; Hon. Remi Adepoju, and other stakeholders across the zone.
According to him, one of the major resolutions reached at the meeting was the need to intensify reconciliation across the five local government areas to ensure that all aggrieved members are brought back into the fold.
He noted that party unity remained the foundation for the APC’s success in the forthcoming elections, stressing that every stakeholder must be carried along in the party’s activities.
Adesoji urged party leaders to remain committed to grassroots engagement by strengthening party structures from the ward level to the local government level.
“The success of our party will depend on our collective efforts, discipline and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress,” he said.
He also assured party members that the proposed Alli-Adesoji administration would be inclusive and provide equal opportunities for all loyal party members and communities across Oyo State.
“There will be no room for division or exclusion. Every loyal party member and every community will have a place in our shared vision of a prosperous and inclusive Oyo State,” he added.
Adesoji reiterated that the APC’s mission was to unite the party, mobilize supporters, and secure victory for all its candidates in the 2027 elections.
He commended party leaders and stakeholders for their sacrifices, support, and commitment to the growth of the APC, expressing confidence that a united party would deliver victory in Ogbomoso Zone and across Oyo State in the next general elections.
