It was a remarkable celebration of love, destiny and coincidence as renowned twins in Nigeria’s travel and tourism industry, Taiwo and Kehinde Oguntoye, exchanged marital vows with twin sisters bearing the same names in a colourful ceremony held in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The unique double wedding, themed #TWINNINGINLOVE2026, united Taiwo Oluwafisayo Oguntoye with Taiwo Oyedele Adediran, while Kehinde Oluwusayo Oguntoye tied the knot with Kehinde Oladele Adediran.

The wedding brought together family members, friends, associates and well-wishers from across Nigeria and beyond, who gathered to witness the rare union of twin brothers marrying twin sisters with matching first names.

The couples are children of Prince and Mrs Samuel Oguntoye JP and Chief and Mrs Segun Adediran, whose families jointly hosted the ceremonies.

The celebrations began with a traditional engagement ceremony on June 19 at RAD Events Hall, Akobo, Ibadan, where both families formally united according to Yoruba customs and traditions.

The church wedding was held on Saturday at Bishop Akinyele Memorial Anglican Church, Iwo Road, Ibadan, where the couples exchanged vows before God, family and friends amid prayers and hymns.

The reception followed immediately at the International Conference Centre (ICC), University of Ibadan, where guests were treated to an atmosphere of elegance, excitement and celebration. The event featured music, cultural performances, dance presentations and goodwill messages from dignitaries, colleagues and loved ones.

The Oguntoye twins are widely recognised figures in Nigeria’s travel and tourism industry, having built a reputation for promoting tourism destinations and facilitating travel experiences within and outside the country.

Guests described the wedding as one of the most unique matrimonial celebrations in recent memory, noting the rarity of twin brothers marrying twin sisters who share the same names. Many said the union symbolised destiny, friendship, family values and divine orchestration.

Speaking during the celebration, friends and associates prayed for enduring love, fruitfulness and happiness for the newlyweds as they embarked on their marital journey together.

The event ended on a joyous note, with the couples expressing gratitude to God, their parents, family members and guests for their support and prayers, while reaffirming their commitment to building strong and successful homes.
