An Ogbomoso-born young footballer, Aremu Shuaib, has taken a significant step towards achieving his professional football dream after securing a football development opportunity in England through Shuffle Select FA.
Shuaib departed Nigeria recently to continue his football education and career development in England, a move facilitated through a talent identification programme organised by Masifa United FC in partnership with Shuffle Select FA.
According to the club, the promising youngster was discovered during a scouting exercise held at Soun High School, Ogbomoso. Following his outstanding performances during the programme, he underwent several months of intensive training, competitive matches and assessments under the guidance of Shuffle Select FA.
His commitment, discipline and steady improvement eventually earned him the opportunity to further develop his football career abroad.
Speaking on the achievement, officials of Masifa United FC described Shuaib’s success as a reflection of the effectiveness of grassroots football development initiatives and strategic partnerships aimed at creating international opportunities for young Nigerian talents.
