The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has disclosed that efforts are being made to ensure seamless recruitment.
The application portal crashed within 24 hours of the commencement of the process due to the volume of visits.
A statement on Wednesday by Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, confirmed technical glitches were experienced.
It was reported that more than 200,000 applicants had tried to access the system around the same time.
Babafemi disclosed the agency upgraded its infrastructure on Tuesday, March 14, to accommodate the large volume of applicants.
The spokesperson said the site was improved “after over 53,170 applicants had successfully logged into the portal”.
“The system is synchronizing the data at the back-end of the infrastructure in order to adjust to the server upgrade,” he noted.
The anti-narcotics agency apologised to the applicants and urged them to be patient while the system completes synchronisation
