3SC READY FOR PROMOTION BATTLE – Agoye

Head coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan Edith Agoye, says his team, will take all teams in their group seriously when the 2019/20 season of the Nigeria National League begins in November.

Draws for the new season, tentatively scheduled to commence on November 1, were beld in Enugu on Sunday, with the Oluyole Warriors, falling into group B1 of the Southern Confefnence zone.

Reacring to the draws, which saw his side drawn alongside crack teams like Gateway FC of Abeokuta, Abia Comets of Umuahia, Go Round FC, Dynamite FC and 36 Lions of Lagos among others, Agoye, said his team would approach every game.with utmost seriousness.

“We thank God the draw has been made and we have known our opponents, we will take all the teams seriously because every team in the group is a potential champion”.

On insinuations that his team will find Gateway FC, regarded as its major rival in the group difficult, coach Agoye, played down such belief, hinting that 3SC have always had upper hand over Gateway in their past meetings but admitted that it will not be an easy clash this season.

“We are not going to bank on history when we face Gateway, we will take the game and every other game like cup final, because like I said, all the teams are potential champions.

Coach Agoye, said preparations by his team have been positive, thanking Governor Seyi Makinde for giving the coaches another chance to pilot the affairs of the club.
