As Osun State moves closer to the 2026 governorship election, the decision before the people is clear: sustain progress or risk reversal. Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has, in three years, demonstrated purposeful, people-centred leadership that deserves continuity.

Across Osun State, tangible achievements speak louder than political rhetoric. From expanded road networks and improved healthcare facilities to school rehabilitation and renewed attention to workers’ welfare, the Adeleke administration has delivered a visible and measurable impact. Pension and salary arrears were addressed, promotions implemented, and grassroots financing strengthened.

As Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, I can attest firsthand to the Adeleke administration’s commitment to transparent governance and economic growth. This commitment is clearly reflected in the steadily rising Internally Generated Revenue of the ministry, driven by reforms in land administration, improved physical planning processes, and growing investor confidence across Osun State.

Osun’s improved performance in education and primary healthcare, alongside a reduced debt profile and shrinking infrastructure deficit, reflects a government that plans responsibly and governs with foresight. These gains must be protected and consolidated.

Governor Adeleke’s inclusive leadership style has earned widespread goodwill among workers, traditional rulers, youth, women, professionals, and community leaders. This trust is the foundation of sustainable governance.

The choice in 2026 is not complex. Continuity offers stability, progress, and a sense of hope. Governor Ademola Adeleke has earned the confidence of the people and deserves the opportunity to complete and consolidate his vision for Osun State.
