The Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo North Senatorial District has promised to deliver massive votes for Engineer Oluseyi Makinde and other candidates in 2023 election
They hailed the Governor for the unprecedented infrastructural development and engagement of people from the district in his government

Chief Jacob Adetoro, Dr Saka Balogun Chief Kunmi Mustapha, Chief Michaeal Adegbite, Chief Dotun Oyelade,Alhaji Rasaq Gbadegesin, Chief Bayo Bankole, Hon Temi Adibi, Barrister Farinto Adeniyi
Former Deputy Governor Alhaji Hameed Gbadamosi, Senator Gbenga Babalola, Mr Taiwo Adisa, Mr Biodun Oni, Hon Akinwale Solomon Akinwole PDP Senatorial candidates in Oyo North and others.
In his remark, the Oyo state Deputy Governor Barr Bayo Lawal said the meeting was necessary because it will foster unity and progress in the party
He said Governor Makinde’s magnanimity and determination to transform Oyo state should be applauded and appreciated with more support for another four years.
The deputy governor however harps on unity and urges party members to bury their hatchets and allow peace to reign in the party “It is only when we are united that we can work and achieve our goals, a divided home cannot stand
Senatorial Chairman. Hon Yusuf in his welcome speech Congratulates the deputy governor on his elevation and said The essence of the meeting is to resolve the internal wranglings in the Party and discuss how to move forward to win election
He expressed optimism that PDP will win 2023 election in Oyo State and urged members of the party to ignore bickerings and work together.
“Governor Seyi Makinde’s achievements in all sector has opened door for us and we have to complement his effort by with units to units campaign and ensure his victory.
Other speakers at the meeting including The former Deputy Governor Chief Hammed Gbadamosi, Chief Kunmi Mustapha, Chief Jacob Adetoro, Dr Saka Balogun ,Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi and others coroborated the deputy Governor’s speech by calling on aggrieved party members to bury their hatchet and let peace reign in the party
