The presidential ambition of Governot Peter Ayodele Fayose,the executive governor of Ekiti state recieves boost in Yorubaland as a socio-political organization under the aegies of
Isokan Yoruba Youth Movement. I. Y. Y.M Declared their unflinching support for him.
The Ibadan based group which is a coalition of yoruba sons and daughters of diverse backgrounds and conglomerate of youth organisations, movements, groups and associations in south West.
In a press statement signed by its National president Alhaji Akinola Akanni, and Secretary Taiwo Bolarinwa, the group said Fayose’s antecedents and achievements in his state speaks volume of his capacity to govern the country effectively’
‘His bravery and approach to issues especially on welfare of the masses and endeared us to support his ambition with the hope that he will continue with the same style when he gets to the position he is yearning for ‘
The group noted that ‘ people do misunderstand fayose’s style but a perfect understanding of his ideology and plans for the nation shows he is a better man for the job
‘we have resolved to continue to mobilize and embark on serious campaign for him and we are sure victory will be ours in 2019
