The immediate past senate president Senatod Ahmed Lawan and Senator Godswill Akpabio on Monday evening hold a parley with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
At the meeting were the chief of staff to the president Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and Imo state Governor Hope Uzodima
The meeting was at the instance of tomorrow’s innaguration of the 10th Assembly and Senator Akpabio’s ambition to the the president of the Senate
Since the beginning of the race for the Senate presidecy started both Lawan and Akpabio are not on the same page despite the fact that they are from the same party.
But a source at the presidency told pur reporter that the Senator Ahmed Lawan has agreed to work for Senator Akpabio as the next Senate President
