Former members of House of Reps, Opeyemi Michael Bamidele (MOB), and two others yet to be identified, were shot by unidentified gunmen during a rally organized by All Progressives Congress APC to welcome its standard bearer, Kayode Fayemi, in Ado Ekiti Ekiti state
One of the victim died on the spot while Opeyemi Bamidele who also contested primary with Fayemi sustained injury and has been taken to an undisclosed hospital.
Another taxi driver and a female passenger were said to have been hit by stray bullet during the rally
Dr Kayode Fayemi, the party Flag bearer was accompanied by Ondo state Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and some other political highfliers in the state and other part of the country
