Ekiti state Governor Ayodele Fayose has react to the setting up of 77 man committee by the All progressives Congress for the July 14 governorship election describing them as a biblical Philistines that will always crumble against the Israelites
The All Progressives Congress on Thursday set up a 77 member National campaign council to ensure victory for the party’s gubernatorial candidate Dr Kayode Fayemi
The committee headed by Kebbi state Governor Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu includes 14 serving governors, eight minister, Senator, House of Reps members and other party stalwart
Fayose on his twitter page posted @GovAyoFayose said “ I saw APC’s gathering of 77 for Ekiti election which I regard as the Biblical Army of the Philistines that will always crumble against the Israelites .APC didn’t set up 77-man committee on economic recovery, herdsmen killing, and hunger, its Ekiti that Is more important to them.”
“Unfortunately for the APC, their Army of occupation is facing peter the rock they will be roundly defeated and the more they gather, the sweeter their defeat, Having spent over N3bn on mere primary election, they have earmarked over N25Bn on Ekiti Election, they will fail.”
