Hon Akeem Ademola Ige, a Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Oyo state has felicitate with Barrister Wale Ojo Lanre on his appointment as Director General, Bureau of Tourism Development in Ekiti State.
The new appointment came few weeks after he was called to bar.
Ige a former Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Tourism said Ojo Lanre’s appointment shows he is being appreciated for his unrelenting effort in promotion of domestic tourism and projecting Ekiti to the world.
The Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland in a statement said ” I recalled his first appointment as Director General Bureau of Tourism Development and later moved to SSA Tourism Development, he was not found wanting in his responsibilities and his desire to market everything about Ekiti.
” There is no doubting the facts that his efforts is being noticed and this appointment is another form of reward for his genuine and passionate contributions to his state and Nigeria at large.”
“Ojo Lanre’s agitation for creation of separate Ministry and give more attention to tourism is yielding positive results and his name will be etched in a golden book as a front liner who make remarkable contribution in awakening the consciousness of the government and the public to the development of tourism in Nigeria”
While commending Gov Oyebanji for engaging Ojo Lanre, Hon Ige said, i observed that the governor is appointing people that will add value to his administration and help him drive his laudable vision for the state and i wish him the best
