Young Nigerian from Damasak, Borno State Bags First Class at Indian Institute

A young Nigerian from  Damasak  town in Born state has  bagged FIRST CLASS at Indian’s institute.

Awa’aji Zanna Damasak  studied Maritime Operations at Indian institute of Science, technology and Advanced studies with First Class.

Damasak  the headquarter of Mobbai local government in borno state which was displaced by insurgency in 2014.

According to Wikipedia, in November 2014, Boko Haram invaded and captured the city of Damasak in retaliation for civilians joining self-defense groups and the resident  of the city fled the advancing Boko haram jihadists to the neighbouring country.

But in 2015, Nigerien  and  Chadian  armies attacked the jihadist and  pushed them out of the town after less than a day of heavy fighting

In a post by Northeast Reporters, Nigerians are congratulating  Zanna for the feat with some  asking him to stay back in Indian and not thinking of coming back home

Babaji Usman said “My advice for you is Stay there in India an find a better Job.Don’t even think of comings down to NIGERIA talk less Demsak

Com Muhammed Bukar Atulma’ post reads:”On behalf of the state government and also the youth we wish you heartily congratulations to you I’m calling on you to utilise the knowledge you acquired positively and lucratively in the real world”
