In a heartwarming show of compassion and leadership, 10-year-old Reign Oluwamurewa Emmanuel Onya has chosen to celebrate his birthday in an extraordinary way — by giving back to society.
Rather than hosting a lavish party or receiving expensive gifts, Reign decided to mark his 10th birthday by sponsoring the annual school fees of 100 students. His initiative, tagged “10-for-10,” is a symbolic project that reflects maturity, empathy, and a sense of purpose rarely seen at such a young age.
Reign’s act of generosity is being carried out in partnership with the International Phenomenal Leadership Initiative (IPLI), a global organization dedicated to raising transformational leaders and promoting community development through service and empowerment.
Speaking about the initiative, representatives of IPLI praised Reign for his visionary mindset, describing him as a “young leader whose heart for humanity embodies the true essence of leadership.”
Through this project, Reign aims to inspire his peers and adults alike to embrace the value of kindness, service, and social responsibility. His effort sends a powerful message that leadership is not defined by age but by impact.
“As he turns 10, Reign is not just growing in years — he’s growing in purpose,” a family member said. “He believes that the best gifts are not wrapped in ribbons but in love, kindness, and opportunities for others.”
Reign’s story serves as a reminder that even the youngest voices can make a meaningful difference — proving that the future indeed belongs to those who lead with heart and vision.
