The Yorubaland Council for Islamic Preachers (ITIHAD) is seeking for amicable resolve of the rocking Ogbomosoland over the chief Imam tussle.
The Ayilara family alleged that Chief Imam of Ogbomosho Land, Teliat Olushina Ayilara, is as an imposter, wrongfully occupying the exalted position of Chief Imam.
The crisis has divided the muslim community and may snowball into a bigger crisis if nothing is urgently is done to avert the crisis.
In a bid to avert the crisis and resolve all matters council delegated Sheikh Akeugbagold, Sheikh Olounlomerue & Sheikh Sulaiman Olore to visit the ancient city of Ogbomoso on fact finding mission to see to how to mend fence & return peace to the beloved Muslim community leadership.
The team met with stakeholders including the Soun of Ogbomoso Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege 111, Alhaji Monsur Ejide, The Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland, Toliha Yunus Toliha Olushina, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari and the Ayilara’a family
