Evangelist Yinka Ayefele, the chairman of fresh FM has renamed the multipurpose hall at the music house orita challenge ibadan after his late publicist and General Manager, Mr David Ajiboye.
Also, Mr Tope Agbeyo, Chairman, Cornfield Group promised be sponsoring an annual for journalist in memory of the late Ajiboye
Ayefele disclosed this while speaking at the night of tribute which was held organized by fresh fm in Ibadan
He said David Ajiboye’s death a personal loss to him because he is one of the people he loves dearly and he would forever be rememberd
Mr Ayefele also promised to support the fanily and children of the late staff
The event was attended by journalists from different media organizations , representative of NUJ, FIBAN, SWEGOP, AJUM, RATTAWU, GOMAN and others
Various speakers at the event paid a glowing tribute to the late journalist while pastor PF Owa in his sermon said David Ajiboye is resting with the lord.
The clergy man said death is a neccesary end for all mortals but it is important that we live an impactful and purposeful live for God to service humanity .
Rev. Edward Kehinde Alabi cordinated a special prayer session for the deceased family and others who graced the ocassion
Earlier in the afternoon, the Nigerian Union of Journalist NUJ Oyo state chapter also organized a day of tribute for their departed colleague who died on August 8 2021.
