Wolekanle Visits Open Salawu, Says His Coming Will Boost PDP Chances in 2023

The Oyo North People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Senatorial Candidate, Hon Akinwale Akinwole has described the movement of Engineer Muftau Open Salawu and his supporters into the PDP as a development that will further boost the party’s chances in 2023.

Open Salawu who served as a Special Adviser to the late former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, dumped the All Progressives Congress last month.

Akinwole during his visit said he acknowledged and appreciate the efforts of Engr Open Salawu so far and urged him to join hands with other stakeholders in the party to promote unity and prepare for electoral victory in the forthcoming general election.

He told the Journalists that “Engineer Open Salawu is a great mind who I hold in high esteem, I am confident of his political sagacity and philanthropism, his influence will no doubt positively affect PDP in 2023.

“There are more people in APC and other parties that are coming to join us in PDP, Governor Makinde’s giant strides in all sectors and his masses-oriented projects are attracting them” He concluded
