A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Oyo State, Hon. Akinwole Akinwale who is popularly known as Wolekanle has urged the newly elected executives of the party in the state to ensure that unity and Progress reign in the party.
He also tasked the Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro led Executives to work in synergy with the wards, local, zonal and national executives to ensure total victory for PDP in the coming elections.
Wolekanle in his congratulatory message to the new executives said, he was happy with the process and commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his genuine interest in promoting internal democracy.
PDP remains a party to beat in Oyo state and Nigeria at large. This can only be achieved through our collective efforts and support for every step taken by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, in his bid to put the party on the path of greatness.
“Already, the outstanding performances of the governor have created a leverage for us and we should build on his humanitarian approach to governance to win more people into the party”
“While I am pledging my continuous support for the new party Excos, I also want to seek for more support from all progressive-minded fellows in the Party to cooperate with them in taking the party to a greater height”
