Wolekanle Suspends Political Activities Over Campaign Coordinator’s Death in Iwajowa
Peoples Democratic Party PDP Senatorial Candidate in Oyo North, Hon Akinwale Solomon Akinwole has directed suspension of campaign activities in honour of the late Taofeek Olayiwola Arapaja, a Chairman of his campaign council in Iwajowa local government who died on Tuesday
Arapaja a grassroot politician and mobilizer from Idiko Ile, In Iwajowa local government died in a motorcycle accident while returning home from a function at the council secretariat.
Wolekanle as he is affectionately called said he recieved the sad news with schock and yet to come to terms that Arapaja is no more
“With sadness I announce the suspension of all campaign activities for a week in honor of one of us, a brother and friend Hon Olayiwola Taofeeq Arapaja. May the soul of the departed rest in peace, Amen” He said
He also commiserate with the family, political associates, friends and relation of the departed soul and pray that Almighty God grant them the fortitude fo bear the irreparable loss.
