Wolekanle Meets Sunday Dare, Seeks Alliance for Makinde’s Re-election

The People’s Democratic Party PDP Candidate in the last Presidential and National Assembly Election in Oyo North, Hon. Akinwale Akinwole On Thursday meets the Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare to seek his support for Makinde’s re-election.

Sunday Dare who is the Agbaakin of Ogbomoso received Hon Akinwale in his home in Ogbomoso.

In his remark, Hon Akinwale said the essence of the visit is to seek the Minister’s support for Governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election

” Gov Makinde’s shared the same vision with Hon Dare in the area of Youths and sports development and it would be nice if the Minister can use his influence to enhance Governor’s re-election.

“I know you are in the opposition party, but as the Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland, I am convinced that your support will go a long way in enhancing Governor Makinde’s victory at the poll.

The minister in his response said he would continue to be grateful to the Ogbomoso and Oyo state  people for their support for Asiwaju Tinubu in the last election adding that he would be part of anything that would promote unity, equity and progress

“I acknowledge Governor Makinde’s giant strides in youths and sports development, he has done well and I believe he would do more “.
