Oyo North: Wolekanle Inaugurates Campaign Council, Says 2023 Election Will Be a Walkover for PDP

Peoples Democratic Party PDP Senatorial Candidate in Oyo North, Hon Akinwale Akinwole( Wolekanle) on Tuesday said 2023 election will be a walkover for the party in Oyo state and Nigeria at large.

The Senatorial hopeful who disclosed this at the Inauguration of his campaign council held at NULGE Hall, Iseyin local government secretariat, Iseyin on Tuesday maintained that Governor Makinde’s reflection is non negotiable.

He hinted that the achievements of Engineer Oluseyi Makinde and the peoples desire for a better country have placed PDP above other party in the state.

Akinwale while Introducing and Inaugurating Hon Abduljelili Oyinloye led campaign council said the team cut across all interest groups in the party. He however charged them to be diligent and ensure that they work for the victory of the party in 2023.

Some of the leaders at the event including,Chairman Governorship Advisory Council, Senator Hosea Agboola (Halleluyah), Former PDP Chairman in Oyo state ,Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha. Chief Jacob Adetoro, Hon Temilola Adibi, Chief Bayo Bankole, Alhaji Musliu Oyedemi, Alhaji Siju Lawal and other speakers at the Inauguration said candidates for PDP will win all position in 2023.

Senator Hosea Agboola in his remark said, the party is one and all members should join hands together for the greatness and Victory of the party.

Clearing air on the Atiku and the governor, the former deputy chief whip of the senate said PDP the internal issues will soon be resolved and all hand will be on deck to work for the party ” We oyo state members were at the Inauguration of Atiku Abubakar’s campaign council last week, all other state too were there, we have nothing to worry about, let us work and elect all PDP candidates

The party Senator chairman, Alhaji Yusuf in his remark said the party is well positioned for victory and urged all party members to bury their hatchets and work together as a team, ” Let us forget what happened during the primaries, let us focus on the election and win for our party.

In his remarks, Alhaji oyedemi Musiliu music urged members if the committee to be faithful and loyal to the course for which they’ve been selected, adding that they have to work harder for Hon. Wolekanle to ensure winning for him and all PDP candidates at polls.

Chief Adetoro, Asiwaju of Igbeti land praised His Excellency Gov Seyi Makinde, His Deputy Barr. Bayo Lawal and Sen. Ayoola Halleluyah for their leadership acumen displayed thus far. He noted the need to work for all PDP candidates without any favoritism. He prayed for emergence of the incoming Senator Wolekanle at the polls come 2023.

The Director General of the Campaign Hon Oyinloye who is also the chairman Iwajowa Local government in his in his acceptance speech said his team is ready to work for the victory of Hon Akinwale Solomon Akinwole and other PDP candidates

“We are ready to work with all interest groups and other stakeholders in the region and by the grace of God we shall deliver safely”.

The campaign team includes, 14 central campaign council, 85, local government council, Women group ,Youth groups,Intergroup relations and Mobilization as Ward and Unit Team.

Other dignitaries at the event includes political appointees, council chairmen, councilors, party executives from the 13 local governments and others
