Bashorun Akinwole Akinwole, Chairman Oyo state Local Government Service Commission on Wednesday hosted the newly elected Vice Chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Ibadan Depot, Alhaji Ayo Odebunmi.
The reception, held in his house at Bodija Ibadan, was described as a show of solidarity and support for the new leadership of IPMAN, which recently conducted its Annual General Meeting and elections.
Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, congratulated Odebunmi on his emergence, urging him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in consolidating the gains recorded by the association in recent years. He stressed the importance of unity among petroleum marketers, noting that a harmonious relationship within the association would enhance peace, stability, and development in the sector.
In his remarks, Odebunmi expressed appreciation to Bashorun Akinwole for the warm reception and words of encouragement. He pledged to work with other executives to advance the interest of members, address challenges facing the depot, and promote cordial relations with stakeholders.
