Hon Akinwale Solomon Akinwole, has felicitated with the Muslims all over the world on the completion of Ramadan and celebration of this year Eid-El-Fitri.
Wolekanle, as he is fondly called for his unassuming and strategic ways of reaching out to the people, also charged all Muslim faithfuls to reflect on the teachings and lessons of the season, improve on their new ways of life and be more careful in the mode of celebration.
“We bless God for seeing our Muslim brothers and sisters through the Holy month of Ramadan successfully. I charge them to desist from the sinful habits they left behind and continue to seek the face of God for total restoration”.
” It was a more challenging period because of the Coronavirus pandemic. They could not attend their usual group prayer meetings, teachings and nobody could as well go to Eid Praying Ground. I commend their steadfastness and commitment during the fasting period and pray that their supplications be given speedy and favourable responses by God’s grace”.
” Muslims are used to nose and face covering and constant washing of hands while performing ablution. This should be seriously continued not forgetting the social distancing, regular use of sanitizers and other rules and regulations aimed at putting an end to the deadly COVID-19 pandemic that has brought the world to a halt”.
” We pray that the pandemic will come to an end and we will return to our normal ways of life not forgetting the various lessons the situation has taught us individually, nationally and internationally “, Wolekanle submitted
