Celebrating Akinwale Solomon Akinwole, an aspirant for Oyo North Senatorial District under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has become an everyday’s affairs but today is a special day because it’s a double celebration, an attainment of a golden age and sure electoral victory at the party primary as PDP candidate for Oyo North Senatorial District in 2023
Against all odds, God has been grateful. As a young chap who lost his loving and caring dad, Justice Oluwasanmi Akinwale, at a tender age, you strived hard, faced life challenges, you hawked, slept inside containers— inside Katangua market and others, passed through untold hardship all for you to meet up with life’s demands and achieve your goals of making it in life. The rest is history because God has done exceedingly well for you and he has not stopped.
I am a student of history and a stronger believer in geography of destiny. Few years ago when you decided to be involved in active politics in Ogbomoso, you stepped into the game without looking back inspite of the murky nature of Nigeria politics. Some of those who care wondered what Wolekanle wanted to achieve but your response was simply, “service to humanity and to make impact. Your response to me one day when I repeated the question of why Politics was “We have to be involved, if all of us are shying away from our responsibilities of fixing Nigeria who will do it. I am not into politics because I am hungry and crazy for wealth but because it’s time to for us to change our country for better.
For every great move, there is always a stumbling block but your own has been a stepping stone which has catapulted you from somebody they wanted to relegated to a man the world is celebrating today. Even your adversaries cannot but accept fate because they have clearly seen that it is the Lord’s doings and they have no choice than to be at peace with you just like it was established in Proverb 16: “When a man’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
Akinwole’s dilligency has afforded him to attain certain level of greatness in life. He is the Chief Executive Officer of AA Luxury Suites Ogbomoso, Black Edge Ltd, Founder Ogbomoso United Club, Chairman Ajilete Festival, Wolekanle Educare and others through which he is reaching out to give helping hand to the needy and the less-privileged in the society.
Preparing a long list of people that have benefited from your milk of kindness and your contributions to the society will take days to write and today, many lives have been graciously transformed through your caring heart and giving Spirit, According to Proverb 11:25 “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” May you continue to be refreshed
As you celebrate your 50th Birthday and electoral victory at the party level today, I wish you all the best in life and I prayed that the Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
