Spiritual leader Satguru Maharaj Ji has weighed in on the political crisis rocking Rivers State, describing the conflict between former Governor Nyesom Wike and suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara as a “distraction from the real enemy” of Nigeria’s progress.
In a strongly worded statement Maharaj Ji argued that the feud is symptomatic of a deeper neo-colonial conspiracy, allegedly orchestrated by Fulani proxies serving foreign interests from Britain and Saudi Arabia.
“Neither Wike nor Fubara is a saint,” the statement reads. “They are both pawns in a larger Anglo-Fulani plot to destabilize Nigeria and keep indigenous Nigerians divided and impoverished.”
He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for intervening in the crisis and invoking a constitutional State of Emergency in Rivers State, describing the move as a necessary antidote to what could have become “another boiling point.”
Maharaj Ji warned that repeated political feuds like the one in Rivers ultimately do little to benefit the masses. He called on Wike and Fubara to reconcile quickly in the interest of peace and unity.
“The real enemies of Nigeria are not our political leaders but the foreign interests exploiting our divisions for their own gains,” he said, urging Nigerians to embrace unity, spiritual awakening, and indigenous leadership.
He concluded by promoting the teachings of his movement as a spiritual solution to Nigeria’s troubles and called for greater awareness of the “divine path” to peace and development.
“Black man has suffered enough,” Maharaj Ji said. “This is the only chance we have to survive the ongoing global battering.”
