.National General Secretary of the Agbekoya Peace Movement of Nigeria, Comrade Olatubosun Olapade has given reasons for the dismissal of Muyiwa Abdul-Wahab from the organization.

Muyiwa, according to the statement allegedly been parading himself as the Lagos state governor of the Agbekoya Peace Movement of Nigeria, and he had been soiling the name and discrediting the image of the Yoruba security outfit by
threatening the peace of the people of Eredo and its environs,a popular community in Epe, Lagos state.

“He was later handed over to the police for further investigation.

“But as an organization that is very committed to promoting peace and tranquility in Nigeria, there is need for us to tell the public that Muyiwa Abdul Wahab is no longer a member of the Agbekoya Peace Movement of Nigeria and that he had been dismissed from the organization for a very long time over unruly behaviours that have to do with thuggery, duping and land-grabbing.

“We have reported the case to the police and we are also calling on the security agencies in Lagos state to stop him from parading himself as member of our organization and to check him from disturbing the peace of the community.

“Muyiwa has turned to be a thorn in the flesh of the people of Eredo community in Epe and he had been causing alot of crises in the community.

“He had been using Agbekoya Peace Movement of Nigeria’s uniform to perpetrate his criminal activities with his boys.

“And the leadership of the organization had warned him severally to desist from these unlawful acts, yet he wouldn’t listen, that is why the leadership of the Agbekoya Peace Movement of Nigeria dismissed him from the organization, so that he would not soil the name of the organization.

“We have also warned members of the public not to relate with him on behalf of the organization.

“So,we want the Lagos state police authorities to rescue the people of Eredo community by making sure that there is peace in the community and that criminal activities of people like Muyiwa Abdul Wahab were reduced completely in the community.
