Concerned Group For Good Governance, CGFGG, has identified the need for elected members of the House of Representative to speak with one voice and rally round Hon. Tajudeen Abbas to emerge as the next Speaker.

The Group, during a press conference in Ibadan, on Wednesday, stated that Mr Abbas, who represents Zaria Federal Constituency in Kaduna State, has displayed a great deal transparency, accountability, trust, intelligence and, above all, youthfulness to deserve the position.

While saying that Hon Abass has been adopted by the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, for the seat of speakership, the group noted that he is emboldened to set a clear agenda for the leadership that Nigerians are yearning for.

Elucidating more on his achievements, the group emphasised that the lawmaker, as a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILTS); Fellow, Chartered Institute of Marketers (2013); Fellow, Chartered Institute of Administrators (2016); Fellow, Chartered Institute of Treasury Management (2010); Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Nigeria (2015) and Associate Members, Chartered Institute of Management (2008), is qualified enough to lead the Green chamber.
