Leaders from the financial sector, friends, and stakeholders of Wemabod Limited gathered at the Black Diamond Hotel, Victoria Island in Lagos on Friday, to honour Mr. Oluyemi Ejidiran’s remarkable contributions as he retired from his role as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.
His six-year tenure was marked by outstanding achievements and a vision for transformative growth that has reshaped the company’s future.
According to the company, under Ejidiran’s stewardship, Wemabod Limited experienced a period of exceptional progress, modernizing its operations and expanding its real estate portfolio.
The company successfully diversified into a full-service real estate business, encompassing real estate development, property management, and facility management, among other areas.
Speaking, the Group Chairman, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, said, “Over the last six years of your leadership, Wembabod Limited experienced significant progress in different areas of its business, set itself on a path of modernization and growth, and transformed the real estate portfolio of the group.
“It went through a process of re-envisioning and diversification, becoming a full-service real estate business covering real estate development, property management, and facility management among others.”
The group chairman noted the property upgrades such as those of Western House and Investment House, two buildings that are now much more livable and lettable than they used to be, which were achieved under his leadership.
He observed improvements in the work environment across the group with employees of OICL, Wemabod, SWAgCo and SWIT now working in world-class office environment.
“You also led several high value real estate development projects such as Unity House, Super Mall, Surulere and Sugarland Estate,” Ashiru said.
