All Progressive Congress chieftain and Ibadan North Federal constituency House of Representatives hopeful Hon. Khalil MUSTAPHA (REPETE) has condoled with the family of Distinguished Sen. Teslim Kolawole Folarin over the untimely demise of his wife, Barr. Simbiat Angel Folarin.
Hon. Khalil MUSTAPHA Repete, in a statement from his Media office said the death of Barr. Angela Folarin, though a rude shock to all and sundry should be seen as an act of almighty allah who is the ultimate.
He described the late wife of the Leader of the 3rd senate as a strong woman who gave a very unequalled backing to every step taken by her husband.
According to Hon. Khalil MUSTAPHA REPETE while speaking with newsmen at the Oluyole residence of Sen. Teslim Folarin during the 3rd day Fidau prayers for the repose of the soul of the late legal practitioner, he described Barr. Angela Nwaka Folarin as a woman he took time to study both at the home front and on the field of Politics.
He said, 2015 election is a very good example of how determined she was in her quest to give her husband the needed support to help him actualize his dream of becoming Governor of Oyo state.
Mrs. Folarin was in every nook and cranny of Oyo state mobilizing women support groups to vote for her husband.
She was relentless, unwavering and committed in the Teslim Folarin Project even during the 2019 elections that eventually saw her husband becoming a senator of the Federal republic of Nigeria the third time which is record breaking in the political history of Oyo state.
Loosing one of the finest women we have in the Political firmament of Oyo state at this critical stage of the electioneering process which is fast approaching is a blow too many for us in Oyo state and most especially the All Progressives Congress, but who are we to query God.
We take solace in the fact that she live a good and Impactful life during her lifetime and we will continue to cherish the great moment she spent with us.
Hon. Khalil MUSTAPHA REPETE used the occasion to call on the people of Oyo state and members of the All Progressives Congress to come together prayerfully as we mourn our departed faithfuls and not to waver nor be distracted by the sad occurrences but be more determined to forge ahead as 2023 approaches.
He said situations like this should serve as a moment of sober reflection for all the statement concluded.
